You have finally fabricated it to the terminal boss in Grasp of Avarice. You have navigated the rusted depths, killed the behemothic ogre, and tore through the giant Fallen shield. The last encounter is elementary, impale Captain Avarokk the Covetous and claim your difficult-earned loot. While the boss may seem a fiddling daunting at commencement, the encounter is relatively straightforward every bit it follows mechanics that are seen throughout the entire dungeon.

Kill Avarokk'due south minions

Upon starting the encounter, y'all will immediately observe two split up mini-bosses announced in the middle platform. These Vandal and Shank mini-bosses accept much less health than Avarokk does and will need to be dealt with quickly. We recommend using either Gjallarhorn or Sleeper Simulant to dispose of the Vandal and Shank mini-bosses quickly. If you're quick enough, the Vandal mini-boss will drop a few charges of Burdened by Riches to brand your collection process a bit easier.

Release the engrams and accuse the crystal

You probably noticed the large crystal in the heart of the boss platform, and if y'all have washed several previous encounters of the dungeon, the crystal is charged the same way. You'll want beginning to kill the Vandel wandering effectually the arena with a Scorch cannon and pick upwardly said cannon. Then, find ane of the three Fallen batteries located on and effectually the boss platform.

In one case you find a bombardment, shoot it with a charged Scorch cannon shot to release Burdened by Riches engrams all over the arena. You may need to shoot the batteries more than once as the center crystal requires 60 charges of Burdened by Riches to commencement the DPS stage.

Do some damage

In one case the DPS stage begins, you volition observe a distinct audio and a text prompt appear on your HUD. Avarokk volition also teleport to the dorsum of the platform and stay relatively still throughout the phase. Normal DPS powerhouses like Gjallarhorn, Sleeper Simulant, and m Voices will do wonders here and should even be able to i phase the boss with plenty damage. Just exist sure to bring a Warlock with Well of Radiance or a Titan with Ward of Dawn to protect from the minor enemies all around the arena.
