Housing

The ANRP Internship Program is just able to provide housing for its Washington, D.C. interns. These fully-furnished apartments are located in Arlington, Virginia, which is a curt 15-25 minute metro ride from Capitol Hill and downtown D.C. The neighborhood is shut to shopping centers, grocery stores, restaurants, dry cleaning, and public transportation. Everything yous need is right at your fingertips!

Housing accommodations are not provided for interns in the Austin, Texas or Rome, Italy programs. Interns for these ii plan locations are responsible for securing their ain housing for the duration of the internship.

Academics

Stay on rails for graduation! Prospective ANRP interns are highly encouraged to meet with their academic counselor to discuss how participation in ANRP could touch on the pupil'south degree plan prior to submitting an ANRP application. Please talk to your academic advisor almost receiving grade credit while interning with the ANRP Internship Programme.

All ANRP interns are required to enroll in bookish credit during the internship semester. Specific coursework will depend on the individual student's degree plan requirements. Students should piece of work with their academic departments to determine which course(s) are the most appropriate for the internship. Graduating Seniors

Need a gap semester before starting graduate school or entering the professional loonshit? Participate in either the Washington, D.C. or Austin, Texas programme the semester after you lot graduate!

Graduating seniors may intern with either of the domestic programs later finishing their caste. ANRP staff will have you lot flagged as a "U5 – postbaccalaureate undergraduate" (continuing educatee) with the Registrar's Office, which allows you to participate in the program post-graduation. May graduates may intern with ANRP in either the summer or fall, August graduates are eligible to participate in the fall, and December graduates are eligible for the spring.

Graduate and doctoral students cannot intern with ANRP subsequently they graduate.
